Burning up calories can be done
in different ways, to some, burning up calories on the treadmill at the gym is
no big deal, this doesn’t appeal to everyone, the word gym put some people to
flight. If this describes you, you don’t have to worry, take another way out,
you can burn plenty of calories engaging in your normal everyday activities.
An exercise physiologist with
the American Council on Exercise reveals that an extra 300 calories can be burn
per day by people who are physically active during the day. This means losing
an extra pound of weight during a period of 12 days.
Research shows that these extra
300 calories per day can come from what is called non-exercise activity
thermogenesis, which accounts for the energy that you expend when you are not
sleeping, eating, or doing structured physical activities like jogging or
sports.
